I love this entire article, especially the comments/discourse at the end that ends up taking six times as much space and time as the original article and covers ten times the depth and value. What an amazing, compelling, gorgeous group of people. I can’t figure out how to post a comment on the actual page so eff it, I’ll just put it here:

I just spent the better part of two hours reading every word of the article and each comment, pondering the ideas and the argument. It’s rare that a discussion not be degenerated into personal attacks and ignorant language.
